Hi, I'm Luca
I'm a full stack developer and project manager with more than 25 years of experience, based in Ticino, Switzerland. I specialize in the Laravel/PHP ecosystem and in Python with FastAPI, and in bringing AI/LLM solutions into real-world products.
I have designed and taken to production multi-tenant SaaS platforms for the utilities sector (water, electricity, gas), coordinating the development team as project manager and certified Scrum Master.

What I do
- Multi-tenant SaaS: designed and maintained a Laravel platform for automated meter-reading management across web, mobile and bot channels.
- Python and FastAPI: APIs and services in Python, including GeoLayer MCP, an open-source MCP server built on FastAPI that gives AI assistants read-only access to geospatial data.
- Integrations and data: REST APIs for data exchange with utility management systems, plus ETL pipelines and Python crawlers for automated data acquisition.
- Automation: email/SMS/push communication systems built on queues and jobs, and management panels in FilamentPHP.
- AI integration: LLM assistants and contextual chatbots supporting internal operations.
- CI/CD: build and deploy pipelines written in Go.
- Team leadership: project management and Scrum, from analysis to release.
